Tiffany's Faves in the Falls
(I don't get paid to advertise these places, I just like them from experience with my kids on the spectrum.)
Places to eat, shop or have fun:
Wendy's (Lots of GFCF selections!)
Samurai of Tokyo 2518 Mallard Dr
Wichita Falls, TX 76308
(940) 696-2626
Order food w/ no butter and no sauce and you have a GFCF meal fit for a king! May be overstimulating for some, and the wait may be tough, but they do accept call-in orders!
Kids Hair Safari 4022 Call Field Rd # B
Wichita Falls, TX 76308
(940) 692-6666 www.kidshairsafari.com
They have lots of experience with special needs kids. It is always best to make an appointment (for the first appointment try to schedule it when there aren't alot of other children. (especially if you don't know how your child will react.)
Jump for Joy 4375 Seymour Hwy
Wichita Falls, TX 76309
(940) 692-4444 www.jumpforjoyppc.com
Jump for Joy is full of inflatables. Very fun! Food and drink can only be consumed in certain areas, so it cuts down on the kids wanting stuff off of their diet. Don't forget to wear socks! That is a requirement.
Castaway Cove Waterpark 1000 Central Fwy E
Wichita Falls, TX 76301
(940) 322-5500 www.castawaycovewaterpark.com
Castaway cove is very fun for the family that likes to swim. Be sure your child wears their life-vest and also make sure that if you have a "runner" that you can keep very close tabs on them. **This USED to be one of my faves... but has declined alot this summer... see my autism-friendliness review for more info.**

Wichita Falls Area Miracle League 2302 Midwestern Parkway Wichita Falls, TX 76308 www.fallsmiracleleague.org The Miracle League makes sure that all children (no matter what their ability or disability) can play baseball. Educational: Wichita Falls Independent School District www.wfisd.net (My children go to 2 different schools because their needs vary. One can attend regular classes, and the other needs a more contained setting to work on life skills. I think all of the people on my children's education "teams" are amazing, resourceful, compassionate, and very smart people. I am very blessed and thankful for the cooperation of everyone! :)
Region 9 Education Service Center www.esc9.net offers many workshops that parents can attend. They have a wonderful autism specialist named Christian Avera. Go to their website and look under "professional development" for a listing of their workshops.
